How to Apply and Remove Nail Gel Wraps

Prep, peel, and stick!

Prep

  1. Gently push back cuticles using cuticle pusher included.
  2. File and shape as desired. Buff nail surface so the nail wraps can adhere well.
  3. Use an alcohol pad to remove any excess dust and oils from your nails. Ensure that nails are dry and free from oil before application.
  4. For a longer lasting finish, use a base coat. This is not mandatory, but if you have oily nails and/or an uneven surface, a layer of base coat will help the wrap to adhere to your nails.

Application

  1. Measure nail wrap to your nails to determine the best fit (we recommend one that is slightly smaller)
  2. Remove the clear protective film.
  3. Peel off selected nail wrap from the silver end.
  4. Centre nail wrap and apply to nail close to the nail bed without covering skin or cuticles.
  5. Press firmly to smooth down the wraps, gently rubbing out any wrinkles or bubbles.
  6. Continue to smooth the wrap over the tip of your nail to cap it.
  7. File downwards to remove excess wrap.
  8. Repeat on all 10 nails.
  9. Apply top coat for a longer lasting finish!

Removal

  1. Soak nails in warm water for 10 minutes to loosen the adhesive.
  2. Gently peel off the nail wraps.

Tips for a longer lasting finish

  1. Always start with clean dry hands.
  2. Buff your nail.
  3. Apply base coat. (optional)
  4. Avoid touching your skin and cuticle.
  5. File downwards and in one direction only.
  6. Apply top coat. Avoid quick drying top coats as this can cause shrinkage and bubbles.
  7. Avoid water for a few hours.
  8. Maximise each pack by cutting the nail wraps into half if you have short nails.
